Massage at Poas Volcano Lodge
Enjoy your stay with us by treating yourself to a full one hour body massage which can be organised at your convenience. Using a mixture of natural oils and exotic fruit or herb remedies and creams, you can opt for either a gentle or a more invigorating massage which will help with the release of impurities, relieving stress and fatigue and energizing or relaxing your whole being.

Guided Tour to Poas Volcano National Park
Enjoy being chauffeur driven to Poas Volcano National Park, an experience not to be missed with a chance to view the widest active crater of any volcano in the world. On your tour our friendly bilingual local guide will tell you some of the fascinating history of the local area, show you the best views towards the Central Valley and also point out some the spectacular flora and fauna and birdlife on the various trails around the park – an enriching experience enhanced by the knowledge of our local guides.

La Paz Waterfall Gardens

Colinas del Poas Canopy Tour
Colinas del Poás Canopy Tour is 2 hours of thrilling adventure – harnessed on a zip wire you will travel between 24 platforms set within large treetops giving you a close encounter with the cloudforest canopy and the ecosystems within that. This adventure ends with an impressive 600 meter cable ride between the last two platforms – guaranteed to put a big smile on your face! Doka Estate Coffee Tour
We can guide you to Doka Coffee Estate, ‘Tres Generaciones’, which produces one of Costa Rica's highest quality coffees. The Estate is located on the slopes of the Poas Volcano above Alajuela, whose rich soil and the ideal altitude and climate have made the Santa Eduviges farm famous for its excellent coffee. On your way there your guide may suggest a stop en route to give you a chance to browse the local arts and crafts and the opportunity to meet some of the community involved in these cottage industries.

Sarapiquí Tours
We can organize your tour to the Sarapiqui Tropical Rain Forest, a spectacular and scenic drive from the cloudforest highlands of Varablanca down to the rainforest lowlands of the Northern Caribbean plains. You will enjoy several protected and important biological parks and research stations, namely Braulio Carrillo National Park and La Selva Biological Station. It is an opportunity to see and experience the mighty Sarapiqui river which can be accessed from Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui, the main river port. Once a bustling hub that exported goods down the Sarapiqui and San Juan Rivers (Río San Juan), it flows east to the Caribbean coast, eventually finishing at Puerto Limón. It is now a major ecotourism concern and offers some of the best white water rafting in Central America. Puerto Viejo and the surrounding areas are also famous for their banana, cocoa and coffee estates and from which the produce is exported all over the world. Once you enter this unique and expansive area, it is not hard to see why it is regarded as one of the most beautiful and desirable places in Costa Rica.

Option A) Sarapiqui River and Coffee Tour- Take a relaxing river Boat tour on the Sarapiquí to view surrounding rainforest and wildlife, followed by a Coffee Tour in one of the Cooperatives in San Miguel.

Option B) Sarapiqui Rafting & Neotropical Centre – White water rafting on the Sarapiquí River, grade 3 or 4, followed by a visit and optional lunch at the Neotropical Centre, an insight to the indigenous history of Costa Rica.

Option C) Sarapiqui Rafting & Horseback Riding – White water rafting on the Sarapiquí River, grade 3 or 4, followed by a horseback riding tour around the 2000 acre working ranch of Pozo Azul. Typical ‘campesino’ lunch afterwards is optional at the Pozo Azul restaurant on their river terrace, overlooking the Sarapiqui.
